Oh well, fiddling with the header was a mindless waste of time. Today has been interesting - but better overall. Hubby employed a painter so the house is multicolored - I was doing floors - ahhh. But we are nearly ready for furniture - which is exciting!
My sense of life is returning, like thawing with a Hot Chocolate after being out in the cold. I have no idea how I am going to earn money to pay the mortgage - but we will get there, somehow. Good people around make things so much more pleasant - even when they really are not, even when the stories do not make sense - even when I am, apparently, someone I do not really recognize.
I do not claim to understand. Thanksgiving tomorrow, not an English thing - but kids and pizza and whoever invented veggie bacon all seem like good things. As does a husband who is still here after all these years and well.....all sorts of things. Thanks - like the song says - I thank you God for this amazing day today, well, God, thanks a lot......thanks a lot.
