Snow

I kind of wanted the snow to be more than it was - I know it makes it hard for everyone and I have to get to the airport tomorrow - but there is something magical about that white blanket and apparent quiet.

I was scoping out sledding hills as we headed to the hardware store - these projects are never ending - I wish they delivered - there someone - please - it would be even better than Peapod groceries - although that was funny the other day - the tree man, who lives near Winchester was here on my lazy day - and was amazed that the grocery store actually delivered! But back to scoping out hills - we discovered we already knew where a good one would be.

Looking for fun - little things - little places. Being grateful that the groceries can just come but at the same time wondering about some bigger things - I am sure you wonder too. Wondering how the big things and the little pleasures fit together and wondering when the little pleasures become sinful self-indulgence. But mostly wondering how best to use the things which God has so generously given in the time which God so generously allows.

Looking for the sledding hills in a life where there is always snow and always sunshine - always places to have fun and always places to toil in the fields of the Gospel.
